EDF restarts the reactors of the Cruas-Meysse nuclear power plant

EDF announced Monday, December 9, the restart of three reactors at the Cruas-Meysse nuclear power plant (Ardèche). The site had been shutdown since November after an earthquake in the Rhône valley.

The Cruas-Meysse nuclear power plant (Ardèche) is once again producing electricity. Monday December 9, EDF announced that it had restarted the site’s second reactor after an extended shutdown. An earthquake recorded in the region in November required several checks on the production units.
